    C&T Introduces High Performance Fanless Industrial PC in a Mini Form Factor with 7th Gen Intel® Desktop-S Processors

    C&T Solution Inc., one of the top worldwide manufacturers in the fanless embedded system market, has unveiled its latest fanless industrial PC (RCO-3600) featuring 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 Desktop-S Processors in a mini form factor for space-constrained integration. The RCO-3600 is the newest addition to C&T's portfolio of embedded industrial computers that feature rugged designs suited for manufacturing and factory environments. With its small and compact chassis design, the RCO-3600 can be deployed in harsh use conditions to ensure robust performance and reliability.

    The RCO-3600 is configurable with a wide range of 6th/7th Gen Intel® Core™ processors from Celeron™ to i7 desktop CPUs. Unlock full potential with a quad-core architecture and a max frequency of 3.8 GHz to power demanding workloads with relative ease and a reasonable 35W TDP.

    Despite the increased CPU and graphics performance of an Intel® Core™ i7 Desktop-S CPU, the RCO-3600 is engineered for rugged industrial applications by featuring a fanless design and wide operating temperatures of -25°C to 60°C. The rugged chassis is also 25% smaller than C&T's flagship RCO-6000 high-performance industrial PC that features the same processor offerings but increased options for memory, storage, and I/O expansions due to its larger chassis size. This provides systems integrators and IoT architects the flexibility of having both significant computing power and reliable durability in a space saving form factor.

    “The RCO-3600 is a great new addition to C&T's industrial pc's because it shares the best performance benchmarks from its larger relative (RCO-6000) and delivers exceptional performance with low power,” Mao also said. “But where the RCO-3600 truly shines is in its reduction in the chassis size while maintaining all the critical industrial features like wide-temperature, wide-voltage, and resistance to shock and vibration; a major requirement for industrial edge deployments today.”

    The system supports a wide voltage input range of 9 to 50VDC with power protections against overvoltage, overcurrent, and reverse polarity. In addition, the RCO-3600 features rich I/O ports for control capabilities including isolated DIO, COM and USB 3.0 making it an ideal solution for industrial applications in automation, robotics, IoT, data acquisition and systems control.
